Good Morning Chosen Child,
Moses was just doing his ordinary job, tending sheep on a mountain he'd probably walked a hundred times before, when a burning bush stopped him in his tracks. God told him to remove his sandals — the ground he was standing on was holy. Your everyday, familiar routine might be the exact place God is about to interrupt with something extraordinary. Pay attention to the ordinary moments. Heaven sometimes shows up right where you least expect a divine encounter.
"And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses... put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground." — Exodus 3:4-5
Say this prayer:
Father, I thank You for the divine encounters hidden in my ordinary days. Bless my day with awareness to notice when You are speaking through familiar moments. Bless my night with peace, expectant for what You want to reveal to me. Let me never walk past holy ground without recognizing it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
